Watermark Image in 5 steps

  1. Upload your image

  2. Add a watermark

    Type text or upload a logo image for the watermark layer.

  3. Style and position

    Drag to position. Adjust opacity, rotation, and size. Repeat as a tiled pattern if desired.

  4. Render

    The watermark is baked into the image at full resolution.

  5. Download the result

    Preview the output and click the download button to save it to your computer.

Frequently asked

Will my watermark survive re-compression by Instagram?

Semi-transparent watermarks placed over textured areas survive re-encoding well. Avoid high-contrast solid overlays over smooth areas.

Can the watermark be automatically removed?

Sufficiently opaque watermarks over the subject can only be removed with noticeable artifacts. Watermark placement covers this in the blog post.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

Client-side tools process in your browser. Server-backed tools send the image to the MakeMyImgs API temporarily, process the requested job, and return the result.
